ATHLETICS
The Athletic Section of Birkirkara St. Joseph Sports Club is affiliated to the Athletics Malta and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races.
The Section organises the annual BSJ 5K Road Running Series during the summer months, the 13th December Fleur-de-Lys 10k and 5k Road Running Races.
As of 2016 it took over the Malta International Challenge Marathon – a marathon spread over a three day period and traditionally held on the last weekend of November.
