Birkirkara St. Joseph Sports Club will be hosting a series of Youth Aquathlon races for multisport athletes born between 2005 and 2015.
The Races will take place in Salina and will be held under the auspices of the Malta Triathlon Federation.
The schedule of events for the 2021 Go&Fun BSJ Aquathlon Youth Series are as follows:-
Saturday 17th July – Race 1
Wednesday 4th August – Race 2
Saturday 4th September – Race 3
Saturday 19th September – Race 4
Saturday Races will start at 5pm, whilst the Wednesday race will start at 6pm.
A nominal race fee of €10 is payable on the day. Entries will be received until up to one hour before the start of the race.
The first race which will start on Saturday 17th.
Triathlete Jake Vella, who just yesterday completed a gruelling 100km swim challenge aimed at raising funds for abandoned animals and raising awareness about plastic pollution will be the guest of honour and will kick start the race.
