Birkirkara St. Joseph Sports Club is proud to announce that the Garmin (Malta)-Gozo-Malta Open Water Swimming Competitions have been classified in the 46th place in the world’s top 100 island swims 2021 classification issued recently by the World Open Water Swimming Association.
The Club would like to thank the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta for their sanctioning of this event, Garmin Malta, the main sponsors, its logistics team including Transport Malta, the Armed Forces of Malta and the Police Authorities, the Labranda Riviera Hotel & Spa of Marfa, and of course all the participating swimmers without whose support this prestigious placing would have been impossible to achieve.
This year’s Garmin (Malta) – Gozo – Malta Open Water Swimming Competitions will take place on Saturday 17th September. Registrations will be opening very soon.
